1903-04 Aden: actions in the interior/hinterland?

For all discussions relating to British military and naval matters of the Edwardian and immediate pre-First World War period, 1901-1914.

1903-04 Aden: actions in the interior/hinterland?

Postby Jonathan » 01 Oct 2008 00:18

I just acquired a sword to an officer of the Indian Army who was with the 102nd (King Edward's Own) Grenadiers in Aden. He is listed as taking part in operations in the "interior" or "hinterland". Can anyone elaborate on these actions, or perhaps point me to a resource that might be able to provide more information?

Thank you,
Jonathan

I know this is a two year old post, but does anybody have any new info on this subject? There seems to be interest in Aden but not a lot of facts or discussion in this or other threads about Aden.
