William Moore 1873-1905

William (aka Jack) Moore, 15 Sep 1873 - 10 Mar 1905 (bronchitis).

I do not know anything of his military record, but believe that while he was serving, he dived from the walkway over Tower Bridge as a planned exploit, though the Tower Bridge archivist has not, to date, found any reference to this. Family legend suggests that he may have been an army physical training or swimming instructor.
His serving period could not have been outside 1879-1904. He was also an engineer's draftsman & writer.
any information at all would be appreciated.

Hi! I'm trying to look him up on the genealogy databases. Can you post any other info you have about him? Do you know his parents' names, where he was born and died, was he married, etc? Also, do you know what regiment he served with?

I'm trying to see if I can find anything about him in newspapers, but I would need a bit more info to use as search words.
Thanks!
