Does anyone know when the main garrison at PMG was moved to Pinetown following the 1877 and 1879 typhoid epidemics. It was at the time of the AZW or shortly thereafter.

Typhoid fever is the same as enteric fever. Typhoid seems to be an American term. Enteric, British.
