A tablet in St Mary & All Saints, Trentham Parish Church, Stoke-on-Trent.

Lord Frederick was the second son of the Duke and Duchess of Sutherland; he contracted cholera at the British base at Varna and was then too weak to be landed with the British forces at Eupatoria. He was being taken back to England on H.M.S. Bellerophon when he died.

Wow! Thanks for posting this. This Leveson-Gower is the nephew of a lady that I've done some research on (her husband would be the 2nd Earl of St. Germans), so it was fun to see his memorial.
