A couple of interesting grave markers from an old cemetery in, or near, Fort Canning Park, Singapore. From my visit in April, 2012.

Wiki states that "HMS Renard was a wooden screw sloop launched in 1856 and broken up in 1866."

Thanks Scona , great photos

These two sailors appear in the BACSA book Singapore: Early Cemeteries by Alan Harfield.

I checked this out by entering the names in the BACSA search
http://bacsa.frontisgroup.com/bin/index.php

BACSA is the British Association for Cemeteries in South Asia
http://www.bacsa.org.uk

Perhaps you may be prepared to offer BACSA copies of your two photographs?

Cheers
