AGED 20 YEARS.
LATE A PRIVATE IN HER MAJESTY'S 21ST REGIMENT
OF ROYAL NORTH BRITISH FUSILIERS.
WHO FELL NOBLY FIGHTING FOR HIS COUNTRY
AT THE
BATTLE OF INKERMANN
ON NOVEMBER 5TH 1854.
WHEN 8000 BRITISH AND 6000 FRENCH TROOPS GALLANTLY
REPULSED THE RUSSIAN ARMY OF 60000
MEN!

SOLDIER REST, - THY WARFARE'S O'ER
SLEEP THE SLEEP THAT KNOWS NOT BREAKING!
DREAM OF BATTLE FIELDS NO MORE,
