Cheers for that. Can't remember if I had seen all of that video before.
We're doing it all again this weekend. Two battles - I'll try to improve on this. For safety reason we have to tap load, rather than ram as we usually do. 'Maori' are not right - just brought together from other re-enactors at the event. I know the break-action shotguns are wrong, but we don't have any muzzle-loading ones we can [safely] use.
Crowd love it.

We have an 'Armstrong' gun, rather than coehorn, this year.

Really, really good....if I was a kid watching that I would instantly acquire an interest in my country's history I'm sure. Well done Bruce and troops. Excellent.
