13th Surrey Rifles: 1883

Postby Dixie » 26 Apr 2016 10:11

Two members of the 13th Surrey Rifles, recently renamed to the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, The Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment.

These photographs were taken on our St Geroge's Day charity march raising money for Combat Stress, our first main outing in our new rifle green uniforms!

Impressive results to say he least. I'm sure they fit better than as issued sizes did in the past.

Great looking kits!

The last two photos remind me of Simkin prints.

Very impressive! I would love to hear more about how you made up the uniforms, and where you got the helmets.
