Boots used by Yukon field force.

Hi, does anyone know what the long lace up boots used by the Yukon field force were?
And dose anyone out there make a reasonable reproduction?

I only just noticed your inquiry ...

I have seen this footwear referred to as "beef boots" or "bully boots" ...

I am not sure if anyone is specifically reproducing that type of boot, but a friend of mine who put together a Royal Canadian Regiment/Yukon Field Force uniform managed to get a pair of similar boots. That was some years ago, but if I recall correctly he got them in the US ... I will ask him and report back -
