Seeing as this spammer has bought the thread up I thought I would give some praise for the SAMHS journal.

The lastest edition is typical of the good articles they attract.

In this issue there is an article about the mechanics of how Jack Hindon and his train wreckers actually created an IED that was triggered by a passing train. Fascinating stuff and great research.

Meurig:i have been a memeber of the SAMHS for quite a while and it is a fine group and the regular news letters advising of field trips and lectures even reach me in far off northern Ontario. I was fortunate enough to attend one monthly meeting which was held as usual in the Jo'burg Military Museum. fascinating to meet & chat with local experts and authors.
