Royal Marine Light Infantry Record Abbreviations

Hi all,
I have a relatives service record 7449 John Sinclair RMLI Plymouth Division but I am finding it difficult to read and understand the Naval abbreviations, me being Army what do you expect, is there a link to guide any where to help decipher it.

Hi Frogsmile,
Thanks for that but I think I failed to explain myself correctly, its initials used in the Marine's record of service for example TF
and Indiff.

I suspected that also but found it strange that its used in other columns, like Cause Towards Good Conduct Badges and Towards Pension and others TP, TF, WP and P. All very confusing.

Hello Hiram, I understood what you were seeking perfectly and directed you to by far the best website that I know with regards to detail concerning the RMA, RMLI and RM. I feel that it is well worth you looking through the various sections, some of them covering documents, and seeing if you can find the information that you seek. I also pointed out that the webmaster might well be able to help.
