Random thought today, how was the Duke of Wellington's death reported/received (celebrated?) in France? Any ideas?

Hi, Josh!

Here's an article that was published in the "Hertford Mercury and Reformer" on 25 Sep 1852. The title was "The Duke of Wellington and the French Press", and it discusses the various reactions of the French reporters to the Duke's death. It was too long to type this evening, so click on the link to see the article. If you can't read it, let me know, and I'll work on typing it out! An interesting topic to share over on the Napoleonic Wars Forum, if you haven't already done so?! :D
