Playing in the vault. Here's the revolver Michael Caine should have been using to shoot aboriginals in the movie Zulu. A 1873 Adams Model III, 450cf. The Adams' were the first revolvers approved for military use by the British War Dept. Pre-dates the Webley MkI by 14 yrs.[attachment=0]20151011_112109-1

Lew, does it have any markings linking it to South Africa, such as C^G, a crown over a 3, or the initials K.T?

Colt Model of 1851 was the first revolver in British military service.
