So far my knowledge, this book is not copyrighted, becuase I was published in 1890 or before..........Can anyone give me the download link?????

Do you know that it's been put online, Shams? A Google search should reveal it if it's in the usual places for such books - Google Books or the Internet Archive etc. Otherwise, I guess it's not out there (... yet!).

Hi all, can anyone recommend any reference books for Victorian British Army Uniforms. lots of picture being an obvious advantage.

The most accessible resources, I think, would be the Osprey series of books - very nicely illustrated and mostly well-researched.

I can recommend Michael Barthorp's books, they do tend to focus on uniforms of the Victorian era: http://www.bookfinder.com/author/michael-barthorp/

You will not be disappointed. There are some especially good collaborations between Michael Barthorp and Pierre Turner. They are profusely illustrated and well worth collecting.
