2nd Norfolk Regiment

Postby zytec » 06 Jun 2009 07:49

Hi everybody.
Can anybody help please, I would like to obtain a photograph of my Grandfather`s Regiment taken after the Boer War of the
(2nd battalion Norfolk Regiment) The photograph shows the regiment with a small oval photo of each Soldier in one corner.

The Photo did exsist in the family many years ago, but cannot be found. if anyone does have one if I could have a scan copy
etc it would be fantastic.

My Grandfather also had the QSA and KSA medals, I think they were sold many years ago.
The QSA had three clasp`s. Paardeberg, Johannesburg, Cape Colony.
The KSA. 1901, 1902.
His name was James Savage. Reg No 4763.

many thanks, Regards

It's been some time since you asked but I saw oval, 2nd Bn and Norfolk and recalled the attached image. It doesn't sound like what you are after, but in case you misremembered things, is this 1888 composite of 2nd Bn NCOs what you are after? This scan is poor and I could do better if this is it.
