Tel el Kebir: Coldstream Guards

Postby Peter » 31 Dec 2016 10:05

I would be grateful for any information concerning:

(then) Armourer Sergeant Snelling, attached to the 2nd Battalion, Coldstream Guards.

Wounded at Tel el Kebir, 13th September, 1882 (LG Supplement, 6/10/1882).

I’m particularly interested in his Corps of Armourers' number (& / or his ‘Army’ number if the Guards employed the usual ‘custom’).

Also interested in any service details pre / post his Coldstream Guards’ attachment.

Regards,
Peter

The rolls are available as free downloads from the NA and are in WO/100, the two you want are WO/100/55 & 56:
