Does anybody know where I could view a copy or the text of his pocket manual for soldiers? Am working on the final draft of the biography Robert Coveny.

You might enquire at the National Army Museum, Chelsea. Although they are closed for renovation, it is possible to arrange to view archival materials via the Reading Room. Alternatively, the British Library might be able to help.
