This society is very much alive and well. I'll post details soon for those interested. The quartely magazine seems excellent value to me.

I would be very much interesting in hearing from you.
I have considered joining the CWRS but without knowing more about the 'real activity' of the society, never made the step.

Thanks for your note. I will post details here later today.

I enjoy the magazine which is packed with detail, photos, research pieces and so on. There are some other publications available - incl information on uniforms and so on. I think it good value for the money.

Well worth the £20 subscription, the quarterly journal is now in a superior format and packed with info, new members should perhaps in time look to obtaining back issues.
