WO14 Scutari Depot Muster Books and Pay Lists

Hello Everyone

Do you know if anyone has done any indexing of the Scutari Depot Muster Books & Pay Lists? If not, how could someone from isolated Western Australia organise a "look up" for a man who may have served in the Depot?

Hello Everyone
The National Archives has answered my question - response from them below:

Descriptions of the Scutari Depot Muster books and pay lists can be found in discovery. These records have not be indexed any further than they appear in the catalogue, they are not searchable by name.
None of the records in WO 14 are available in either digital or microfilm format. The documents are available in their original format. To view them you can visit us (please check our website for opening hours, closure dates and details of the two valid forms of ID you must bring to look at original documents), or as you live in Australia you may wish to consider a paid search.

Would love a trip to TNA ....... but ......

Diane,

If a trip to the UK is not possible, I can recommend an excellent researcher!

All the best,

Thanks Gary .... I have 500 men to research and can't afford the overhead of a researcher. Poor old lady on a pension :)

Diane,

Understood! My resources are also limited so I am selective about who I spend research money on.

All the best,
