4th Dragoon Guards Early 1853p Sword, Crimea

Postby Will Mathieson » 28 Oct 2015 18:37

An early 1853p cavalry sword inspected at Liege. These are the first issue 1853p swords in the Crimea replacing the light and heavy cavalry 1821p cavalry swords. Marked to the 4th Dragoon Guards, B troop #41. The "100" mark on the guard should be a production mark, I have another identical sword with "76" marked in the same location.
Charge of the Heavy Brigade? :D
