Im away from my copy of BBM at the moment but can anybody tell me what dates are considered rare
Mon General, if by you action the British Army is annihilated, England will never pardon France, and France will not be able to pardon you! Always looking for medals to the Irish Regiments: 18th, 27th, 83rd, 86th, 87th, 88th, 89th,

I've never looked at the NZ medal in BBM before - what a complicated medal! I'm not sure what would be considered rare as the information seems very incomplete, and the text even warns that it may not be relied upon as the sources for the data are sometimes unknown.

Really, I should let someone who actually knows about medals answer this.. :D

Don't have BBM to hand either, but 1861-63 and 1862-66 are particularly rare.
After that, 1861-65, 1861, 1860-63, 1860 and 1865 are perhaps the next rarest.

Do you have any NZ medals then?

i have 1, an un-dated medal to the 68th and i've 1 in the works to the 65th with the dates 1864-65

Here's my undated medal, he was discharged for being a worthless and incorrigible soldier
